About Rata

Rata is our specialist Life Law Legal Secretary, helping in the background with everything from Estate Administration to drafting wills, enduring powers of attorney to being our backup Trust Accountant. Rata brings considerable experience to the role having worked in various areas of law since 2005, in roles from file management to support duties. Her qualifications include a BA in Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting. 

Rata joined Godfreys Law in 2020 and says her favourite part of working at Godfreys is the people. She’s a problem solver by nature and enjoys nothing more than the satisfaction of solving a complicated problem for her clients. 

In her spare time Rata is an avid reader and, having fulfilled her Agatha Christie inspired dreams of travelling to Egypt to drink gin and tonics at sunset while floating down the Nile (no, Poirot didn’t show up!), she has set her sights on Africa. Rata also likes to sing and make her own jewellery.
