About Philip

Client focused solutions and speed of delivery are important features of Philip's practice. He has been in the law for over 40 years - some would say this is too long, but he considers that it gives him a breadth of experience which is just as important as technical knowledge. 

Too often procedural aspects of law practice can become obstacles to meeting client needs - but Philip finds a good balance. He likes the flexibility for clients (and for himself) that a firm like Godfreys Law provides. Philip's practice is an interesting mix of trusts, leasing, asset protection and specialist work under the PPPR Act. With his wealth of knowledge and his invaluable insight from his years of experience, Philip believes in sharing his knowledge with all of those around him.

Outside of work he likes trail riding on his mountain bike and is keen on sea kayaking and tramping.
