Maddy joined Godfreys Law in March 2022. While joining the team, Maddy found a passion within Life Law. Maddy’s personable and efficient approach to helping clients align perfectly with her variety of specialties - Trusts, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Estate Administration and Asset Protection. 

Having strong relationships with clients is important to Maddy and she values providing practical advice to clients and removing legal jargon so clients can fully understand and be involved in the experience. Every day is different for Maddy, so she understands the complexities that can sometimes accompany sensitive matters. Maddy offers a range of client services, which can include drafting documents or home visits with elderly clients. 
 

Maddy studied at the University of Canterbury and completed her Bachelor of Laws in June 2019. Maddy’s schedule consists of Life Law, Conveyancing, Marketing Team meetings, and planning events to assist in the development of her colleagues within her role on the committee of the Canterbury Women's Legal Association.

Outside of work, Maddy enjoys walking (or being walked by) her two energetic Border Collies, Ollie and Harlow, stretching out on her Reformer Pilates machine, and baking many treats for her family, friends, and colleagues.
