Senior Solicitor
After completing a Double Degree in Laws and Criminal Justice, Kate originally joined the Godfreys team from February 2022 – November 2023. She specialised in conveyancing and gained extensive experience with residential and commercial transactions. Since then, Kate’s area of practice has developed, and she is now a key part of our Litigation and Relationship Property team.
Kate’s experience and dedication to her clients has developed her proficiency in Relationship Property, Disputes/Litigation, Traffic Offences, and Residential Conveyancing. Every day at Godfreys Law looks different for Kate, however no matter the issue her focus is on ensuring that each client feels supported and informed throughout the process. She believes in providing practical and effective advice while helping her clients navigate through their matters.
When not in Court, Kate’s free time is spent down at the netball courts playing for Marist Albion Netball Club. Kate also gives back to her netball club as Senior Club Captain on the committee. During the off-season Kate can be seen walking round Christchurch’s scenic spots, soaking up sun with her friends whilst checking out the local food and drink spots.
