About Andy

Andy's varied background includes banking and hotel management experience, but law is his real passion. He began as clerk in the Courts in Wellington and worked his way up to Registrar of the Court of Appeal, before running his own business and studying law.

He moved to Christchurch in 2008, and now Andy undertakes civil work in the High and District Courts, in addition to specialising in Employment Law, Common Law and Traffic Law.

He often helps people with Limited License applications so they can drive again and protect their livelihood. Debt recovery, liquidation and bankruptcy are also particular areas of expertise.

Andy enjoys pragmatically dealing with disputes; depending on the circumstances, negotiating a practical solution for his client or referring the matter to Court.

In his spare time Andy enjoys salt-water fishing and is happy even when the seas are choppy.
